Jane Clare Jones is a philosopher and anti-transgender activist.

Jones’s anti-trans writings were permanently removed from Medium for being “in violation of the Medium Rules.”

Background

Jane Clare Jones was born on November 6, 1973. Jones earned a master’s degree from University of Cambridge in 1995, a master’s degree from University of Bristol in 2000, a master’s degree from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2007, and a doctorate from Stony Brook University in 2016.

Anti-transgender activism

In 2019 Jones founded The Centre for Feminist Thought.

In 2020 Jones founded The Radical Notion,

Jones co-authored an anti-trans piece with Sophie Allen, Mary LengHolly Lawford-SmithRebecca Reilly-Cooper, and Kathleen Stock.

Junes contributed a chapter titled “The History of Sex: Sex Denial and Gender Identity Ideology” for the 2023 anti-trans book Sex and Gender: A Contemporary Reader.
