Julia D. Robertson is an American writer and anti-transgender activist.

Background

Julia Diana Ghassan Robertson is a first generation Arab-American who grew up in New York with three siblings. Robertson earned a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Purchase and later attended the UCLA Writers’ Program.

Robertson wrote the 2016 lesbian novel Beyond the Screen Door. Robertson’s spouse is Claudia Lucas Robertson.

Anti-transgender activism

Robertson published an anti-trans blog called The Velvet Chronicle and is affiliated with anti-trans group Gender Health Query.
