Richard Stephens is a British school administrator, patient advocate, and anti-transgender activist. Stephens is affiliated with anti-trans organization Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine (SEGM).
Stephens is a member of the NHS England working group on Gender Dysphoria.
Background
Stephens earned a master’s degree from Downing College, Cambridge University, followed by a certificate in education.
In 1998, Stephens was diagnosed with cancer and began getting involved in patient advocacy and activism around clinical research and trials. Stephens was Chair of the NIHR Cancer Consumer Liaison Group.
