Kate Miechkowski is an American social worker and anti-transgender activist.
Miechkowski is opposed to transgender women participating in competitive sex-segregated sports.
Background
Kathryn Grace “Kate” Miechkowski was born on April 19, 1986. Miechkowski attended Rhode Island College, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2011 and a master’s degree in 2015.
Miechkowski worked at House of Hope CDC in Rhode Island, doing outreach to homeless people. Miechkowski also offers private counseling.
Anti-transgender activism
Miechkowski has played American tackle football since childhood and competed as an adult for the New England Intensity, NY Knockout, and Boston Renegades.
In 2022 Miechkowski made a lengthy post on Quillette outlining objections to transgender athletes.
