You can spend no money on transition. Just start being yourself.
You can also spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on transition.
Most of us are somewhere in between.
A great money expert named Barbara O’Neill said, “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.”
Now, let’s find out where you’re going.

Change how you think about money
People in our community often have a hard time through no fault of our own. It can be hard to find work and hard to pay for basic things like food and housing. In a perfect world, trans healthcare would be free for anyone who wants it. We do not live in that world.
The pressures we face can make us feel sad, angry, anxious, or even hopeless. But there is always hope!
Do not worry about the things you can not change. Focus on things you can change.
You may have to change how you think about money and how you use it. Try to ignore your bad thoughts about yourself and your life from now on. Focus on your good thoughts. You have so much to offer the world!
Good thoughts will help you make plans and action!
